Down Below

French Kiss is a 2 cabin, one head boat with the large storage garage to port and aft of the head.

When the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 first debuted in 2011 her fresh, roomy, well lit and well ventilated interior helped her win European Boat of Year. Lots of space. Lots of storage and Lots of natural and artificial LED light make the 409 a joy to spend time down below on.

Her forward cabin is a true owners cabin with a large vee berth a unique overhead opening hatch with a built in wind scoop, and two fixed hull ports let in loads of natural light. Plenty of head room and standing room contribute to the feeling of a big cabin. Great storage on both sides of the cabin and the addition of the optional vanity desk and chair make for a great space to spend personal time or do a little out of the office work away from the rest of the boat.

Her Salon is where she really shines. Big and roomy with a deluxe upgraded table that allows a variety of guests to enjoy themselves. Rich materials and real wood panels and fiddles make for a warm and luxurious experience aboard French Kiss. Lots of neat custom extras and smart touches make French Kiss a true cut above.

Going aft she has a generous head to port with large separate shower with a glass partition, an optional electric head and a huge and very functional storage locker that allows you to store a lot of gear.

The galley has double sinks, a double row of lockers, a gimballed stainless steel 2 burner gas stove and oven. A large top loading ice box, fridge, freezer with a stainless steel front opening door giving access from both top and side. Very convenient. French Kiss has a custom wine rack and custom wine glass holder as well as the optional stainless steel microwave. A true sea going gourmet galley.

Her second cabin aft has great standing head room, lots of storage, an opening overhead hatch and an opening port as well as fixed ports for lots of light and ventilation. The berth is large with a lot of head room for both sleepers.

One feature that I really like is the beautiful recessed floor lighting that makes for a romantic evening aboard the boat as well as being very safe when underway.

Broker's Statement

French Kiss is a beautiful Jeanneau 409 that is in better than new condition. She was under warranty until 2016 and well cared for by Navy Point's Service Department. Always fresh water and very lightly used she is, I would say, the best equipped and nicest fresh water 409 on the market. As for pricing I have done some research and I feel with the Canadian / US dollar where it is, the equipment list on the boat and the excellent condition of the boat she is priced fair.
